For VBOI Graduates
Veterans Helping Veterans through Business Enterprise
VBOI Graduates will be invited to join the Veteran Business Owners Association (VBOA)—a nation-wide community dedicated to supporting veteran entrepreneurs in building and growing their businesses.
VBOA The VBOA is an exclusive networking group for veterans with active businesses who have completed the Business Gym. To join, candidates must receive approval through a vote by current VBOA members. This elite membership opens doors to valuable opportunities, networks, and resources that help businesses flourish. Members pay a modest annual fee.
Venture Funding After completing the Business Gym and earning VBOA membership, you’ll have access to two types of venture funding:
Empowerment Bank – The Empowerment Bank is our nonprofit organization providing micro-loans to veteran entrepreneurs. As the first business bank established specifically for VBOA members, we operate under the Veteran Business Owners Association (VBOA) umbrella.
Commercial Lending – We maintain strong relationships with numerous commercial banks and can connect you with lenders who specialize in your type of business.
Camaraderie & Community – Stay connected through a strong, supportive network of fellow veterans who understand the challenges and triumphs of business ownership.
